Red pixels and screen turning on and off

One day when my brother was watching YouTube, I took the controller and started playing call of duty, but for some reason, the screen kept turning on and off. I can still move and other stuff, however I can’t see it because the screen is off. After a few days, I started to see red pixels in my screen, and when there’s a lot, it turns off. For example; when I take damage, I see a lot of red pixels and the screen turns off. I tried going to the settings, screen turns off. Tried going to support, screens goes off again. I don’t know what to do at this point and I really want to play. But with the screen Turing off and red pixels, it’s unplayable

It takes a technician to assess the case, it's probably the monitor/tv, but it could still be the hdmi cable or the xbox.

I tried the pixellated screen option, it booted for about 2s then turned itself off

Hi, thanks for the help. I did all the steps you said now the Xbox turned on on low res but there is still a bright “storm” of red pixels on my screen, it works on my second screen but still doesn’t connect to my tv. Could it be that the hdmi port is broken?

I lowered the quality to 720 but the screen still wouldn’t connect with my Xbox, and now it gives me all red pixels that are glitching over the screen

Hey there csf!

Is that pixel only in that one corner? It doesn't look like anything overly wrong if it's only on the home screen, and when you change the resolution to 720p that pixel is probably off the screen.

Do you see this pixel anywhere other than the home screen (playing games, watching Netflix, etc)?
