    I bought RDR2 in october 2018 for my xbox but in the meantime i sold my xbox. But i still have my key on my account is there a possibility that i can transfer this xbox key to pc because i cant play the game no more.

    Yes, that actually could explain it. If you bought Red Dead Redemption as part of a bundle (especially a bundle with Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One or Series X|S), there’s a chance the original RDR was only included as a backward-compatible title for newer consoles, not as a standalone Xbox 360 license.

    You can double-check some information here:

    Go to > https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    • Look for the bundle and click into the purchase.

    • See if it lists Red Dead Redemption (Xbox 360) specifically, or just says “Playable on Xbox One/Series X|S.”

    If it doesn’t list the 360 version, you’ll need to contact support and ask if your bundle included the Xbox 360 license.
