    Red dead redemption disc not reading and don't want to buy another copy


    It gives me an error that my disc is dirty but I look at it it's clean and since it's not reading it and I was wondering if Microsoft gives you the game without paying because you already have it.

    Hi Benjamin, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

    Benjamin, I am very sorry that this has happened to you, but I am afraid that it does not work that way. Microsoft does not replace physical discs with digital copies, as a user you obtained what you decided to buy which was this game on physical disc, if the disc has failures due to the time of use Microsoft cannot also grant you a digital license.

    When will the download problems be fixed?

    Not buying anything anymore here. I ordered a disc version of Diablo 3 ROS two days after i purchased Red Dead Redemption here, and i think it's gonna arrive faster via ordinary mail, than the Red Dead Redemption will download from XBL. I'll just wait a
    few more days after that i'm afraid i'll want a refund.

    It only happens with the Red Dead Redemption 2 disc other games work fine, and I will try to see if it works on another Xbox One Console.
