    Red Dead Redemption 2 Won't Play Offline


    Hi,

    Ive been having an issue with RDR2 on my xbox one where it tells me to "check my connection" when trying to play offline. It started after I updated both my xbox and RDR2 on the 11th. I tried contacting Rockstar directly and they were absolutely NO help. They kept transferring me between assistants, so I'd have to re-explain my issue over and over. They kept thinking my issue was with RDR2 online, when in fact it's with RDR2 OFFLINE.

    I do own the disk.

    I have set the xbox to be my home xbox

    I checked this for my and my brothers account and that is the result. Looks a little bit strange or? On My Account the Ultimate Edition is listed twice. I think this is not correct and on my brothers account ultimate edition is missing. Pre-Order Bonus is

    Here is some information that I found.

    Can Red Dead Redemption 2 Be Played Offline?

    Rockstar will undoubtedly integrate social components into Red Dead Redemption 2’s single-player story which need an online connection to function. However, players should be able to at least play the story campaign
    even if they’re not connected to the internet. An active internet connection will naturally be required for downloading the game’s digital version and for playing Red Dead Online.
