Red Dead Redemption 2 first CD doesn't work on my xbox.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with Red Dead Redemption 2 where the disc 1 does not work. For us to isolate your issue, do your have other discs that you can try on your console and see if it will work normally?

To ensure that your issue is not related with software, please update your console to the latest version. Follow the steps below to check for updates.

Select the Home button in the center of your controller.

Select Settings.

Select System.

Available updates will be listed under Console info.

If your Xbox is up to date, try the following troubleshooting tips:

1. Check your game disc for abrasions, scratches, or dust. If the disc is dirty, clean it with a soft cotton cloth dampened with water. Wipe the non-label side from the center straight out to the edges. Be sure your disc is completely dry before inserting it back into your Xbox .

2. Ensure your Xbox console is in a cool, well-ventilated place.

3. Clear the cache on your Xbox .

4. Try the game on another Xbox . If the same problem occurs on another Xbox , the problem is most likely with the game disc itself. If this is the case, you can request a replacement game disc.

Don't listen to them

You probably have a bad disc. Nothing can be done to fix this

You can download the game from the internet and potentially still use it for a key

I checked this for my and my brothers account and that is the result. Looks a little bit strange or? On My Account the Ultimate Edition is listed twice. I think this is not correct and on my brothers account ultimate edition is missing. Pre-Order Bonus is
correct, because i have it bought and my brother not.

I had the same problem at first... eject a game out of the Xbox One oh yeah Xbox console at a 45 degree angle reinstall the Red Dead Redemption cd.... it should work fine now
