    Recovery of Xbox 360 saves possible after deletion?


    After I had been playing on Xbox One for a while, I decided to switch my gamertag. Then when I tried playing my 360, it wouldn't let me log in with my profile that had the old gamertag, so I recovered the gamer profile. When I tried signing into it, it said all game data must be erased. I didn't think it was such a big deal since I restarted most of my games on Xbox One anyway, but now I am starting to miss my old game saves and the custom characters I had made. Is there any way to recover these files, first of all, and secondly make them playable for my new gamertag?

    I have not used my 360 at all since the wipe, to prevent any possible overwriting. I sincerely regret it, I thought it was important to be connected to the internet for updates and achievements, but I should have just kept the console offline and maybe got a new storage device for the new profile. It is so weird that it was incompatible with the old saves.

    Not from within the Xbox, no, but isn't it possible to connect it to a computer and recover the deleted files?
    ... if you would find a way to do so I think Microsoft would either ban you for lifetime or hire you ! :))

    I understand you need help in recovering your lost data.

    Unfortunately, once the data has already been deleted or overwritten, this will no longer be recovered anymore as there is no back up saves for these data from the Xbox console. There is no option on the Xbox to retrieve old saved progress if they are already removed from the system.

    Sorry but that is not possible because the files from the Xbox console are actually different. And the PC will not be able to connect with it.
