    Recovering Xbox 360 save file (Skyrim)


    SOS, I recently saved over a ton of Skyrim data on accident, and I would like to recover the old save file. I don't care if the current save gets overwritten. Is it possible to recover old save data? If it requires hooking the xbox 360 up to a computer,
    I have a macbook. What type of equipment would I need to get for this to be possible?

    Are our saves automatically backed-up in the cloud? In that case, maybe OP could recover his save files.

    Unfortunately, the saves from the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim are not compatible with the remastered Skyrim on Xbox One.

    There's that, and save files are also not transferrable between Xbox accounts.

    You will pretty much have to start fresh.

    Unfortunately unless you had the save backed up somewhere, it's not possible to recover it once its been overwritten.

    Accidentally deleted borderlands 2 save file from backwards compatible borderlands 2

    If you originally had the save file on your Xbox 360 and you transferred it over to your Xbox One via Save Cloud then you should still be able to go to your Xbox 360 and just take the save file off the Save Cloud and then put it back in to the Save Cloud
    so it appears on your Xbox One again, if you started to play the Backwards Comp. game with a new save file on the Xbox One then it should hopefully (not completely sure) but it should hopefully still have been copied over to your Xbox 360 Account on the Save
    Cloud and just take it off and put it back into the Save Cloud again. If its not there then I'm sorry, but there is then no possible way to recover your save file.

    The saves are stored on the cloud, so if you buy the game, you'll pick up where you left off.

    File saves between the 360 and Xbox One are not compatible. The Xbox One Skyrim also counts as new achievements. I had Skyrim for the 360 but never got into it since I was more into Dark Souls at the time. I think I may pick up the Xbox One version to fully
    play it the way it deserves. I really loved Oblivion and put about 450-500 hours into it so I'm hoping Skyrim will be as good. Hope this helps you.
