    Recovering My Childhood Xbox Account


    Hello,

    I have a very complicated situation regarding my Xbox account I have had for many.... many years. in a attempt to recover my account I don't know any of the information like debit card numbers from purchases or my original Xbox 1 and Xbox 360 id numbers because the consoles where sold. the current computer i am using has had the account signed on before. but after having to hard wipe my computer i lost the login information.

    the recovery email used to recover my account is my brothers EarthLink account and he also doesn't have access to that email anymore. since it was his old jobs email address back in like 2002.

    moral of my story is. i would like to actually talk to someone on the phone and give as much information that i can to verify that my account/gamertag is actually me and recover my account again. i know this is a long haul and i understand how account security works as a employee standpoint. but their is some information that they will be able to see that nobody else can. that i will be able to tell them to verify it is my account.

    someone please help me so i can start sign back in on my pc and start playing games again.

    Xbox not letting me get my account back

    hey,

    i definitely have the same issue but mine is a little more complicated than that. my childhood Xbox account hasn't been signed in for at lease 3 years. I no longer have access to the recovery information for that account and the recovery emails.

    i wish i could actually get on the phone with a support agent to recover my account.

    also my security question is so out of date i have no way of knowing the answer of that specific question either.. also the email that is used to recover the account is my brothers and he no longer has access to that live account anymore either..

    You would want to try going through here to see if you can get the email address for it. And then you would need to reset the password.

    Or you would need to try contacting support. As long as you can verify you are the owner of the account, they can get you the email. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    alright thanks for the quick answers and when i had recovered my account over a friends house but made it so i would have to re-enter my password if anyone tried to log in and he is a friend i have known sense childhood so i dont think that is the case but
    i digress ill call up customer services when possible and thanks again for your help
