    Where do I even go, rather, where do I even start?

    My brother had his account banned for false reasons almost a year ago (or maybe it's been over a year? don't even know anymore.). We tried for hours to fix the account, tried contacting numbers, and looking for live chats, and we tried almost everything but to no avail. I don't even think we were able to come into contact with another human being at all back then (during the worst of covid). Eventually, he gave up frustrated and discouraged, he has hated Microsoft ever since, recently I tried to play some Minecraft on his old account- unfortunately, the migration has forced me to link his account with a Microsoft one. I would use his old account but.... still banned. Is there any way to fix this? I've been trying to contact another person through live chat all morning but I keep just getting "You are not the owner of the case.". What should I do?

    When the account is permanently banned, all rights to purchases are forfeited.

    You can file an appeal at enforcement.xbox.com, but your window to do so may have expired

    I think we did back then?? I'm not 100% sure, but I remember doing one of the 'case reviews' but I don't think anything came of it-

    I just wish Microsoft would let me talk to someone from the enforcement team or something, it's just a total miss-ban and it absolutely sucks just being a customer in this case because we probably aren't worth Microsofts time, so we probably won't ever have the problem fixed- Ugh- So frustrating.

    If the case has been reviewed that's all that can be done.

    This is the only way to contact the enforcement team unfortunately.

    My account says it was permanently suspended and they won’t tell me why pls help me.

    I got an email saying I was permanently banned. Is this false? I've only had a temporary ban one time before so how long will my account be banned?

    If your GamerTag was banned, recovering it won't restore services. If your console was banned, recovering the GamerTag on the new console should be OK. If you were banned for using false MS Points, I'd imagine it was a GamerTag ban.
