Recovering deleted Xbox saves from the Cloud.

I have been playing TheHunter: Call of the Wild for a while now, and as of last Tuesday my game just wouldn’t let me play. The game would just crash every time I would load in on my account. But when I were to play on another account, my game would load and work as normal. I have looked all over the internet trying to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it. Then I finally got to the point to contact Microsoft support and ask directly. I was told that it was corrupted save data and I had to delete my game save to play normally. So I reluctantly deleted my cloud data and restart. Now as of this morning I was informed that it was the games fault and not corruption. So now I deleted my save for nothing. Is there any way to recover past saves from cloud or did I waste thousands of hours of my life?

Ok, I understand.

That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

If the console hasn't deleted the game save from the cloud yet, the game sync with the save file in the cloud automatically. When you start the game, it'll download the save from the cloud.

If the game save however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

If you went to Menu > Manage Games > Saves > Delete Save Data > “Delete Everywhere“, it's deleted from the cloud and can't be recovered.

Hi, if you deleted the game/content you can download/install the game/content again, if you deleted the game save file from the Xbox only that will sync back from cloud when you next launch the game.

On the other hand if you deleted a game save from the xbox and cloud then those can't be recovered sorry.

UPDATE: EaseUS software does not allow any recovery to take place without buying their service.

If the saves go to the Cloud, is there a way to recover deleted saves from the Cloud?

As Black Dragon 00 said, there is no way to recover deleted save data from your Xbox or Xbox LIVE currently. All save data for games, including Minecraft, is stored locally (unless you store it to Cloud which is on an Xbox LIVE server) and deleted save data
cannot be recovered. Once saves are deleted, you can't redownload them.

Saves can't be redownloaded from Download History/Purchase History because saves are created locally by the game. Sorry bud.
