    Recovering an old Minecraft world


    Hello I used to play a lot of Minecraft back in the day. Ive been wanting to play on my old world but it doesn't seem to be loading properly. I can see the old realm when I look at subscriptions but when I load it it is the wrong world. (if this helps this used to be a Xbox one world before transferring it to the bedrock version). Dose anyone know how to get my old world back?

    Do you have it saved locally too? If not, I'm pretty sure you would not be able to restore the "old" world since the cloud version is the one that is loading up and cannot be changed.

    I can't say for sure. I think all editions use .DAT files.

    It was saved on the cloud due to realms. I am playing on a windows laptop.

    May I know if you have this old world saved on the device you are trying to play or is it saved only on the cloud due to Realms?

    So I found a save file but idk if its a bedrock or what version of Minecraft it is. Do you have any way of telling what version of Minecraft this might be.
