Hello I wanted to post this question because I had this account since 2020 but had lost it due to the Xbox breaking but I still know the email and password I just can’t get the verify code because my moms laptop is broke and was the only way to see the code. The only other thing you can do is try contacting support by phone. If they can verify that you are the owner, they can give you the email address and you can then reset the password. Otherwise, there is nothing else that can be done. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're

Yes it only extends to 2020 even tho this account is several years old

Since it's so old...there is no way to recover it because there is no Windows Live ID (Microsoft Account) associated with it. I have an account that I'd like to recover as well from years ago, but it's lost.

I'm afraid it's gone for good my friend.

it was because that account was disconnected for over 3 or maybe 4 years and it got something like frozen, the support guy that spoke to me said the same as you, but after he tried to recover it, he told me, the old gamertag was now locked and there is no
way to recover it so I'm *** and that gamertag is in the limbo
