Recovering a completely lost account

Many years ago between around 2008 and 2013 I had and regularly used an account on the 360 but it was using an email that will be now unreachable due to the company in question going under. Fast forward to now and I am trying to see if there is a way to
recover the Microsoft account because I want to re-download the old games and expansions I brought for the sake of nostalgia but I cannot use the recovery account form. While possible to fill in as many of the details as possible given that a lot of this comes
off of memory from nearly a decade ago now the form is automatically flagged for not having enough information despite only missing one set of information.

If this account is completely lost then it is not the end of the world and it would have certainly been prudent to update the information at the time but it's a bit too late for that now so im wondering if there is simply any other way to access it with
the information i have available in a method that doesn't get flagged simply for missing one set of details.

Being that you do not know any of the information on the account, there would be no way to recover the account. To recover an account you at least need to know the email on the account. Also the Xbox id of the last console it was on. If by chance you do
know the email you can try the
Account recovery form. You can try the recovery form as many times as you like, just think cant do it a lot in a day.

Doing this will lock you out of your account for 30 days while your security proofs are being updated but once they are updated you will have access back to your account.

If you are getting the

"It looks like someone else maybe trying to use your account

And its asking you to verify your account but can not.

And you know the email and password for the account do this:

Sign into your account at account.live.com/addassocid

This will ask you to verify your account through the security proof

Since you have access to the email and password it will allow you to update the security proof BUT the update will not take affect for 30 days once that update is complete you can then go back to the account.live.com/addassocid site and update the email
address associated with your account and you would have access back to that account.

But sadly it sounds like since so much time has passed and so much information has been lost it can not be done.

I don't believe there is anyway to gain control of it again, if you don't have access to the email.
