Recoverery from hacked parent account

My grandson's Xbox appears to be operating fine, but his mother's parent account and its backup account seem to be irretrievably hacked (passwords, phone numbers, security questions all changed; not enough information known to recover).

If I do a factory reset and then use a different parent account to re-install what data will/might be lost? In particular, what of the Live subscription recently purchased?

Doing a factory reset, will not remove the child account from a parent account.

At the virtual agent select show other options. Select a topic, then select see other contact options and request a callback.

Make sure you are accessing the support site for your country/region.

Maybe if the Mother make recovrey account thak the steps on the support she be have the your account back

Have been through that route, more than once, with no success - just directs me back to the same old recovery scripts that do not work because we do not have enough information.

As stated in the original post "irretrievably hacked (passwords, phone numbers, security questions all changed; not enough information known to recover).", so yes I have followed those and several other sets
of instructions plus some ideas of my own.

My daughter created the account 3 or 4 years ago, and cannot remember any details.

Your comments on the factory reset it sounds like it would be best to wait until the Live subscription expires before trying drastic measures.
