Recover Xbox account from hijacked Microsoft account

A year ago my Microsoft account was hijacked by a russian, had all the information changed and despite numerous attempts and contact through support I couldn't recover it...even though I have proof of purchases made on the account.

I've got a new account, but I can see the Xbox account hasn't been used since I last used it, I'm wondering if there exists a way to merge my old xbox account and my new one, or even re-associate my old xbox account to my new microsoft email?

The only way to access your old account will be to recover it by filling out an account recovery form.

Either way, for security reasons, it's not possible to merge or combine Microsoft accounts, nor can you transfer such things as your game progress or gamertag, account purchases and balance from one account to another.

Damn so even though I have proof of purchases and all the security answers to the account, that information was changed by a hacker and there is no way to get it back? I spent about 3 months filling out forms and racking my brain to answer every possible question on the recovery form and every time it was met with an unsuccessful response. I have genuine receipts to show ownership but they're not enough. It's just crazy to me that if your account is hacked it's gone forever, when other companies such as Google and AOL will help you recover a stolen account with serious support.

A few months ago one of my accounts was hacked by a user and they hijacked my account to firstmailer.net account. I apparently don't have enough info to recover the account.

However I am still being charged my monthly Game Pass subscription. I am unable to cancel this subscription because they refused to recover my account back to me.

Canceling the subscription from the Xbox side would require you having access to the account to login and cancel it.

If you are unable to recover the account then your only other option would be having your bank block any future charges.
