Recover old name tag and purchases?

I was hacked on my emails. The hackers got access to my daughters Xbox account, as it’s linked to my email. We have been able to log in now but the username on epic games is an old one she had and the name tag on Xbox is old too. She can’t remember her exact username when she was hacked. All my daughters purchases of skins on Fortnite aren’t there and she can’t see her friends names either. Are you able to help please? We can see some purchases on the Xbox store - are we able to reinstate them under this ‘new’ name tag even if purchased under the ‘old’ name tag. ….. I am u able to log in to either epic games or Microsoft to find another account as it thinks it’s linked to these ones .. thanks for your help.

Could you elaborate a bit more on what exactly is the status of your son's account?

Is the account currently on the console, or are you unable to add the account to your console due to not having enough info? The link provided to you by XBF

are you sure you used the correct email address?

If so then it could be the case that somehow a new xbox live account was created and is on top of the old one, in that case it is best to contact Xbox Support, they are able to check if that is indeed the case and should be able to assist in how to solve
the issue. Since it shouldn't be possible to have two accounts on the same email address.
