Recover Minecraft account on Ipad

Hi,

My son lost access to his Minecraft account on his iPad, we deleted the app and redownloaded it to update the version of the game so he could play online with his friend. Then got prompted to log in and from there we couldn’t do anything since we didn’t have an email associated with the account. When the account was first created it did not prompt us to make a Microsoft account and it did not ask us for anything else besides a username. All I have is the email receipt on his Apple account with the order ID, please I’d love to recover the account for him to get all his stuff back!

Did you migrate it from Mojang?

Microsoft accounts have been required on Minecraft for many years, are you sure you didn't forget?

Hi,

thank you for your advice. We have just found out that we had not logged into our microsoft account on the ipad minecraft 😞

so we have now started fresh with a new world in minecraft on the ipad. However, i still cannot access this new world on the nintendo switch minecraft

What are you trying to play Minecraft on? An iPad? First of all; did you restart the iPad or reïnstall the app?

In this case, please try to uninstall Minecraft PE from your iPad.

Restart your iPad and install Minecraft PE again.

Try to play it and please let me know how it goes.
