Recover Microsoft account but cell number changed

They have the tools and resources to investigate this issue properly and possibly recover your hacked account. Have you changed your cell phone number since setting up your Microsoft account?

I also believe the verification code can be tested to a cell phone number that is on file.

Hello, when we create a Microsoft account we usually create a new Hotmail address

If you don't remember the email and if you linked a phone number, you can try to recover the account using that phone number.

If you're not able to do it, I'm afraid to say that's not possible to recover the account.

Sorry to hear it. There's not much that can be done if an email account is closed. You could try changing your gamertag to a different email address using the info at the link below

In the meantime there should be an option to have the verification code sent to a cell number or called to your home number. See if you can do that.
