ReCore Banjo Kazooie N&B Code Not Redeeming

I got the code a few days ago for Banjo Kazooie N&B from the recore preorder deal via a message from xbox, but every time I try to redeem it I get an error saying the code can't be redeemed and the error has been logged and Microsoft will look into it, but
it's still unredeemable. I thought it might be because I had to wait for recore to release first before it would allow me to use the code, but it is still not working.

There isn't even a specific error code that would at the very least let me look up the problem and possible work arounds.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Recore promo code not working

My recore promo code for banjo Kazooie knb isn't working. I purchased the game from EB Games.

 

Got the same problem here. When I try to enter my code I get a message saying; "An error has occurred please try again later"

I've tried entering it 5or6 times and get the same message every time.

 

UPDATE

I managed to redeem my code by going onto xbox website and entering it and it was accepted. Still doesn't explain why the actual xbox is throwing up errors.
