    Hi, can we record xbox one dashboard without avermedia capture? Or do we need to purchase that thing? I just wanna make some tutorials on videos thanks.. I just hate wasting money on stupid crap

    Quick Question about Xbox One

    Hello Everyone!

    Quick question about Xbox One and recording devices. Will recording devices still function with the new Xbox, devices such as capture modules like Hauppauge HD PVR, Elgato Game Capture and other recording devices that directly connect to the console and
    a PC/Mac.

    Stop Ryse Game DVR?

    When on xbox one dashboard go to settings then preferences. Under System & App you'll see something saying "Record gameplay with Game DVR". Untick the box and this will stop the console from randomly recording clips all the time.

    GameDVR simply gave up and no longer works

    Just out of curiosity what are you trying to record with the DVR? The system is set up to only record Xbox One video games. It will not work for anything else. No movies, TV shows, dashboard items or even games from your 360 if you if it connected via
    HDMI.

    Yes, just report the person using the dashboard reporting tools and then block them. The PET will take care of it.

    As for recording footage to post on youtube, a little known fact of the law is that they don't need your permission to record footage/conversations. Consent from one party that is part of the conversation is all that is needed in order to record.

    To my understanding, while dashboarding counts a s a loss on your record, it allows your streak to continue unaffected.
