    I am using the Xbox game bar on my pc and I'm trying to record a video with my friend and I am in a party with him but I can only here myself in the video and not him

    To be able to record party chat audio you will need an Elgato or anything external capture card as that will capture any audio on your Xbox (Party, Game, All audio)

    Are X Box Live Party Chats Recorded?

    Audio from Xbox Party Chat is not recorded. Only messages sent directly (outside of parties) are recorded, as they can be abused. Do not accept Party requests from those you don't know/trust.
