Recording isn't working in Xbox game bar. error:2147942405 #windows10 #lenovo G50

I have an older and very bad laptop where I don't have any issue with the Xbox Game bar.
This laptop is the Lenovo Legion Y520. It was for my brother and I was using it to play games, I haven't this issue. But now we added my account on it and removed a lot of his stuff and recording with Xbox Game bar isn't working anymore.

i ve already tried everything above with no hope, even reinstalling the game didn't work. the event viewer error should give you a closer look on the root of it which is 2147942405

A. Open a new PowerShell window as administrator.
Then copy and paste the following command:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your PC after running the command.

B. Open the Run window (shortcut is Windows key + R), type regedit and hit enter.

Go to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

Click the GameDVR folder and delete everything listed there except the file that says “Default”.

Restart the PC and try recording again.

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to Windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then, I know you mentioned you did it already, but please, re-do the same for the Xbox Game Bar app:

Go to Windows settings > apps > search for Xbox Game Bar app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command.

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

Then, after you do it, you're going to open the game pass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.
