Recording from Webcams

I've tried recording videos with my laptop webcam. The quality...is pretty bad, but it's at least viewable.

Like others said, if you're gonna record anything, be sure to get a capture card of some sort.

I have read about capture cards but thought I would check out whether we can make it work with what we have first.

I can currently record the gameplay onto the USB ... there isnt a way to add his webcam recording and mic recording to this simultaneously?

They edit the video. As far as a picture of themselves? They record that with a webcam and sync it up to their video and etc. You'll have to save the livestream because as far as I know, twitch doesn't stream to YouTube.

I dont think Mixer allows to record to USB, it looks like theres other software/hardware that allows you to record your stream, webcam, mic etc.

But since you have started with Mixer - there is an option to Save your stream and download it later.

So he could "broadcast" to Mixer with no one watching (or you watching from another device, to save you from having to review it later!), then later download it and upload it to youtube. (theres an option to save your stream on Mixer)

There is nothing im aware of that you can do to record your own voice from your Xbox 360 to your PC's Line-In (someone correct me if this is wrong). You can record your teammate's voice from your Xbox 360 to your PC, but yes you would need something like
a seperate webcam microphone or omnidirectional table microphone to record commentary to your PC.

I'm not sure if the pre-amp for Turtle Beach's or Tritton's or Astro's could output voice simultaneously to your Xbox 360 AND your PC at the same time either. Just my .02.
