May I know if you have another storage to try to save the clip there and see if there is any difference?

Hello, Saman.SuD. Thanks for reaching out! My name is Lucas. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user just like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

You might see a very small FPS drop while recording clips, but this should not have a big impact on your gameplay. May I know how are you recording clips on the Xbox? Are you also streaming or only recording and saving/uploading the clips?

    Waiting for your reply.

It might cause some frame drop, specially on heavier games, but may I know if the frame drop is significant? Like you can clearly see it and it impacts your gameplay?

Recording clip on xbox series s cause fps drop or lag?

    Thank you for your reply

i only use " Capture what happened "

2 minutes and 720p on internal Storage

But I feel that it causes frame drops in newer and heavier games like warzone or metro exodus

It happened only in games that optimized for series s/x
