    Hi all.

    When I go to fast forward or rewind a show I DVR'd. The panel that usually pops up to show you it is fast forwarding does not show up at all. It also does'nt allow me to change the speed at which it fast forwards or rewinds. Thanks and any help is appreciated.

    As for working with recorded shows, no. It only works with Live tv. You can pause, play, rewind, fast forward with live tv just as you do now with the remote, but to access your recording and On Demand, you still need to use the remote.

    Pause, rewind, fast forward, etc commands do not work with live TV

    When ever I fast forward or rewind on xbox using directv my screen freezes not showing me where I am fast forwarding to until I press play

    Were you able to pause, record, rewind, or fast forward live Tv with your box? I had to switch to cable from Directv that was a usable dvr and worked on the xbox 1 side too. Thinking I had a usable dvr with xbox 1 I got the Xfinity RGN150N model that's
    not working a dvr thinking I would pause or record live tv with. Wrong and failure with MS! Why promote this as a dvr when it is not! The guide works getting the right model number entered but does not work with pausing tv.

    I forgot to mention, it also has a PVR function that works like a DVR to record shows, pause, fast forward and rewind live tv once you connect a good sized flash drive, preferably 16 gigs.
