    I just tried out this Xbox GVR app to record a DirectX game with the latest Windows 10 update. I first set the GVR settings to 10 minutes (from 30s default). Then I tested it in my game after just a few seconds of recording, and it worked well. So I
    launched a game match, played for about 8 minutes, and after the match I pressed the hotkey to "Recard that clip". The screen flashed a bit to indicate it was doing something. But after Alt-tabbing back to the desktop, the video file did not exist in the
    Capture folder nor in the Xbox app. However, I received a notification in the system tray that a game clip had been recorded.

    So what's the deal here, why didn't it save my video like it said it did? Is it a bug or a limitation of the app that it can't save more than a few seconds?

    I'm using fully supported hardware (Intel i5, AMD Radeon 7950 series) and have plenty of hard drive space available. I was really hoping the Xbox app would be more reliable than AMD's buggy Gaming Evolved recording software.

    The xbox one randomly records game footage. I get a message that pops up saying game clip recorded when I didn't say any commands. Also when I say "xbox record that" the video clip is not the correct scene in the game. What's up with that?!?!?!?

    Outcome of recording is not as expected

    DVR is not working ok anymore. I been recording my gameplays in Win. 10 with it without problem but from a few days it has problems. I have it config. to record up to 2 hours; it records 10-30 minutes and when I go to see the video file just recorded 50
    seconds or so. Indicator says recording is fine as I'm playing for 10-30 minutes but when I stopped it says that the file is only 50 sec. What is happening? It was working alright...

    "XBOX record that" only recording 1 second clips??

    On Battlefield 4, "Xbox, Record That" isn't working, doesn't record anything, even though I get the notification that it does. And game dvr is only recording 1 second clips. Hope this gets fixed ASAP.

    Hi Jay,

    I think what happened is that the game clip became corrupted when the game was closed and recording had not been stopped.

    Game clips and screenshots are saved in the File Explorer\Videos\Captures folder. Take a look in there to see if the game clip was saved but if it is not there then the clip was corrupted and likely didn't record.

    Okay... I can record clips, but most of the clips I call out to record are not saved.

    This means that once I get the Upload Studio (or even just the notifications page) there is no new clips evident.

    Best Kinect feature so far, and now it's failing. Hoping Microsoft have a solution for this soon.
