Recommend Local Co-op games for XBOX One

Hi, when you browse the Xbox store, you can toggle the features to select local co-op or local multiplayer games. This will filter the store down to a list of games that you could play together on the same console.

Another resource I would recommend for looking into potential co-op games is the
Co-Optimus website, which sometimes has site and/or user reviews on co-op experiences (on this site, you'll want to search for Xbox One games with couch co-op and/or split-screen).

I'd definitely also recommend looking into
Xbox Game Pass, a monthly subscription which grants you access to a huge number of titles while your subscription is active. Several games I would recommend for local co-op are currently on that service, including Gears 5, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection,
Rocket League, Human Fall Flat, and Supermarket Shriek.

The greatest of the lot would be "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition".

Brilliant local coop and one of the best games available on the ONE.

Then there is "Divinity: Original Sin" which is an excellent RPG.

Definately check both out.

Borderlands would be great and I believe the handsom jack collection is on sale digitally if I'm not mistaken. That's two games at a bargain price tons of hours of couch co-op there

Does xbox one have access to the xbox 360 library yet? Because...you could play Rock of Ages, Kill Team, Fusion: Genesis, heck even Minecraft is local if you can't handle random people stealing 4 iron bars out of your chest every 2 seconds.
