Recognition from DVD RW Drive

How do I get my DVD RW Drive to recognize a xbox 1 cd. My PC is updated and the computer said the DVD RW Drive works fine. The xbox1 game title didn't even show.

That would be because It's an Xbox One disc, and they only work on Xbox One's and so your PC will not recognize the disc. If it is a play anywhere title you will need to own it digitally to be able to play across PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One.

If you want a disc copy of the game that will work on your PC you will need to purchase a disc for PC and make sure that your PC meets the requirements of the game.

Only the digital xbox titles that are part of play anywhere list are available for pc win and xbox one. Disc based games are out totally from this feature.

Xbox One games are only meant to be seen on an Xbox One console. If the game is available for the PC, you would have to purchase it for the PC in order to play it there.

Hi RogueMarie21 this error has occured to many users over the past week. In order to fix this error you will need to have one of the following: Blank RW DVD/CD or USB (Must be over 1.00 GB of size) Follow the steps as follows:

1. Format the USB drive. If you are using a RW DVD make sure it is blank.

2. Download the File from:
www.xbox.com/system-update-cd

3. Once downloaded Insert a USB or RW DVD.

4. If you are using a DVD burn the files to a DVD. If using a USB just simply copy the files from the download to the USB folder

5. Once done the above insert the USB or DVD into the XBOX 360 Console.

6. The Update should update straight away. Once this is completed to update is complete and you may go back online.
