I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Xbox Series X not showing your recently played games.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please perform a full restart by holding the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts down completely. Then unplug it for a few minutes before turning it back on.

And then check for updates. To do this, go to Settings > System > Updates and ensure your console is running the latest firmware. Install any pending updates.

That's odd! When you say you cleared your system cache, did you do a full power cycle? Just to be sure, follow the steps below:

• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Post back and let us know if apps appear where they should be after doing a power cycle.

From the home screen you should be able to scroll to the right under the Store tab where it shows (Games, Movies & TV, Music, and Apps). Any one of those you select should take you to the main back for that selection. Once you select the Store tile from
your home page, you can hit the Xbox Guide button so it minimizes to the home screen, then hit the Menu and select Quit, but this will not close it out and restart. The only way I have found to do it is to scroll to the right each time.

I've been having a similar problem the last few days. While playing a game I might go to the Home screen using the Home button on the controller. The system goes to the Home screen and freezes. I cannot select the game or move around the dashboard, but I
can hold the Home button and it goes to the "Console Off/Controller Off" screen, and then freezes on that screen. Hard resets will reset the dashboard, but it doesn't stop it from happening again. Once while playing a game, the game music continued playing,
but the Home screen was still frozen. This is irritating and I'm sick of tolerating it.

The games and apps displayed on your home screen are the 4 most recently used ones. I have a feeling it was a recently played game before you used the Netflix app, however, if it wasn't one of the 4 recently played things then it'll disappear off of the
home screen and you'll need to pull it up from your games and apps again.

Alternatively, by pressing the start button to pull up the Xbox menu for a specific thing you can pin it to your home screen by scrolling down a little bit.

If the tiles are truly missing you could try to hard restart the console or do a soft factory reset. If any other problems persist outside of what the perceived problem could be you may want to contact support.
