    recently migrated from mojang to microsoft, downgraded to demo?


    don't know if anyone is facing the same issue or it's just caused by my unfamiliarity with the xbox (?) / microsoft system. now that my mojang account is completely deactivated there is no way for me to log back in. My paid java is not there, and it's not in my microsoft account either. contacted minecraft help and they said something along the lines of not having a minecraft account/profile registered to the microsoft account that I've migrated to. I'm not sure how that can be done. I'm not even clear on how to verify if I have migrated although I'm 100% sure it's this particular microsoft account since I don't have any other. I'm on windows 8 PC if that helps.

    for all issues pertaining to Mojang & Microsoft Account Migration you will have to contact Mojang Support. Microsoft does not have any power or purview over the process. You can check your status, understand what happened to your account and more - they have all the information. We can only help with issues with the Microsoft Account - Java can only be purchased through Mojang.

    Access to Minecraft after accout migration

    I'm having a similar problem. After migrating my Mojang account to a Microsoft account, when I attempt to login using the Microsoft credentials, it shows up as a non-paid / demo account. I don't want to have to buy the game again. I wonder if it is possible the account was migrated to a different Microsoft account than the one I am using, but Mojang support cannot address that. I would love to be able to lookup what account name/email address my old Mojang account was migrated to.

    Thank you for your response. If not done so already, I would recommend also contacting Mojang Support directly. If you have recently migrated your Mojang accounts with a Microsoft account, it's possible that this is what's causing the error. Mojang should be able to pinpoint if this is an account error or something on the Microsoft account end.

    Please open a ticket with Mojang at Mojang Support - Submit a Request

    Additionally, if you have noticed that this began after a recent migration, you may view Microsoft Account Migration Issues and FAQ for potential solutions to the error you are receiving.
