Recent Xbone Update

Discus and support Recent Xbone Update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Downloaded the new update (Dec 6 2017) and now my external HD is not being recognized at all.     Recent Xbone Update


    Downloaded the new update (Dec 6 2017) and now my external HD is not being recognized at all. Tried the usual i.e.. hard reboot, swapping usb ports and I'm getting nothing. HD verified via laptop connection so I know its not the HD.

    I haven't tested it myself yet (DVR) so I don't quite know but there is a change log around here somewhere. If no one posts it before I come back I will dig it out and post it in.

    Recent Xbone update

    Apparently was released yesterday or the day before but i haven't noticed any difference.

    I think it had friend notifications when they come online, bluray 50hz playback, game DVR improved quality and another controller update.

    Thing is, I don't remember downloading the update and haven't noticed any of the new features (game DVR still looks terrible). Anyone else?

    Check in the preferences section of the settings to see if there's an option for showing notifications for friends/favourites coming online.... if there is then you have the update.

    .

    There's also a little box on the main dashboard screen that tells you what's in the update (top right I think)

    I haven't tested it myself yet (DVR) so I don't quite know but there is a change log around here somewhere. If no one posts it before I come back I will dig it out and post it in.

    Lord bane is correct the recent players feature isn't working on Xbone yet. It will be added sometime in a few months when the new update for the Xbone rolls out.

    i've had it cut my xbone of once as well. This also just recently happened to me on COD Advanced Warfare..

    It may be the latest Dashboard update.
