    Recent update caused xbox one to break


    I did the new xbox insider OS update on my original Xbox One yesterday and seemingly had no problems. Unplugged my power cable before bed like i always do and when I've tried to play today it just gave me a grey screen. I managed to get the troubleshooting menu open but it doesn't change anything. Best i can get it to do is choosing factory reset and it just cycled through to the "Preparing console" screen but no progress bar or anything shows up, just returns to the troubleshooting menu. What do i do?

    I'm enrolled in the insider program. And I recently got update that caused my xbox x to be stuck showing system error E106. I tried all the options nothing seems to work. Device service through Microsoft is $250. I don't think it's fair for MS to break my
    xbox and expect me to pay $250 to fix it. Can some one help me get this issue sorted out please.

    Are you part of the Xbox Insiders? May be one of the causes of the problem, I haven't received any updates in recent days, and I'm not part of the Insiders anymore
