    Recent update broke my Xbox one


    After the most recent update my Xbox one lost connection from Xbox live and my wifi. It could still see my wifi, but could not connect to it. It would however connect when I connected by cable. Following the support tips online
    did nothing to fix my Xbox. After viewing forms about people who have had the same issue as me I decided to follow a suggestion that worked for them. I deleted my profile off my Xbox and tried to reinstall it. I was able to connect to my wifi and the connection
    test said it was connected, but when trying to sign in and connect to Xbox live it keeps telling me that I am offline and takes me to the network setup page. When I tried to connect it by wire again I was given an error saying there was a problem with Xbox
    live, I checked the status of Xbox live online and it was up and fully functional. I don't know what to try now other than buying a new Xbox which I shouldn't have to since it was working before the update came out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Xbox live isnt working right

    I have this problem too, ever since the recent update i cannot connect to xbox live properly. However I decided to try a wired a connection and now it works. Perhaps the recent update broke the slims Wi-Fi?

    I dunno if they will ever get it out of alpha. The most recent update broke the game on my computer.

    I am having the same issue, but this is after an update to my Xbox One S. Netflix, YouTube, Plex, and more cannot see my Xbox for casting.

    I suspect the recent update is what broke things.

    I no longer have a 360 but that option was always there.. it was here with the xbox one as well but this latest update broke it for whatever reason. My tv is at least 7 years old so not sure about a recent firmware update, but it just seems strange that
    all of a sudden this new update would effect this tv this way.

    That's unfortunate, but it happens sometimes with electronics. My Xbox One X recently broke after only having it for a few months.
