Recent Files Tab on OneDrive Xbox One App Always Times Out with Error

Hi,

I have the OneDrive app on my Xbox one and, now that I've got sharing sorted, I'm really enjoying it. I do have one last problem though and it really ruins the experience:

When I start the app, it defaults to the 'recent' tab (which is fine) but the 'wait wheel' just keeps spinning until it eventually times out with the following message:

"Try again in a few minutes - Sorry, there is a temporary problem with OneDrive. Wait a few minutes and give it another try. (0x8000006)"

This happens almost every time - perhaps once in 30 launches will I ever get my recent files displayed without the above error message. I have a 100Mb/s wired connection which is working fine and have tried rebooting the xbox and uninstalling and reinstalling
the app.

Any advice or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Secret Access to Program Files

Recently I was exploring the app File Explorer and was uploading some music onto my console. All of the sudden I found a folder in the recent tab called "This-PC". Inside was a bunch of the xbox one program files, such as the icons for various apps, app data, account data, ect. After looking in it for a while I closed out of it and then I couldn't find it again. Can someone tell me if there is a way to access these files again?

Home video and photos.

goto Onedrive.com sign in... move movies photos etc to onedrive file... DL onedrive app on XB1, direct to file with photos... enjoy

or

Right click Play To (make sure PC and XB are on same network) and I think you need a more recent version of the W OS

I really give up with this. And it is a recurring problem. Here is the example that's prompted me to Post.

I selected 48 Video Caps* in Upload Studio (Double checked that number). Chose to UL them to OneDrive.

Only 29 Video Caps have made it. That is just 60percent.

* To compound the situation with Videos, you cannot check what files were UL (thus which were not UL) by looking at the Thumbnails on the Xbox and the Thumbnails on OneDrive because the same file has different images.

The only way to get this done with this system of MSFT is to UL one single file. Wait for it to appear in OneDrive - as in
watch the place holder appear then the Thumbnail image. Then select another single file, UL, and watch OneDrive folder populate - one file at a time.

It's ridiculous having to UL and watch it appear one Video at a time.

This happens even when UL 12 files and seeing just 7 appear. Always well below the OneDrive Storage capabilities.

...if you want to save stuff to a specific location on a cloud you could link a OneDrive account and access your files anywhere you wanted to.

Onedrive for Xbox

The Xbox One stores savegames in an user-inaccessible cloud. You can't access your savegames with OneDrive.

The OneDrive app only allows you to access your own existing OneDrive cloud storage, where you can upload pictures, documents and the likes.

With the OneDrive App for Xbox, you can watch your photos and videos you uploaded to OneDrive, buy you can NOT manage your savegames with that!
