    Last night I was on my Xbox, during that time a came across an extremely toxic member of the xbox community while playing a game. Throughout the game he was cussing and saying racial slur after racial slur to players and abusing the hell out of people. Normally
    I let these things slide but he started to go at one of my friends. So after the game I sent him a message that was not any worse than anything I've ever seen on the platform and he ended up reporting my message without even responding to me. I went to bed
    not knowing this information and woke up to an email from your microsoft team saying that I received a 1 day ban from all online activities. I have no problem with that as it is not that big of a deal but I took extreme offense to the fact that my gamertag
    was deemed inappropriate and therefor was removed and banned. Now from what I've read during my appeal process the team that declares these things takes everything into context to see if the gamertag is truly offensive. I can see why someone would think my
    username is offensive as it is/was Goodick22 which obviously has that word in it. But if they truly took everything into context they would know that that is my actual last name and I don't mean it to be offensive. This has been my username for a long time
    and not one person has ever taken offense to it and if it was truly that offensive your system wouldn't have allowed me to use it the first place. I'll take my one day ban even though I didn't do anything wrong compared to the guy who reported me but I hope
    I can at least get my gamertag back without having to go through that appeal process.

    Sidenote: I am also a first time offender and never had any problems or issues with anyone on this platform before and I say one thing and I get 1. banned and 2. my gamertag removed. While others constantly abuse people and get away with nothing. All I want
    to do is speak to a real person who can hear my point of view and I can't get anything. No email, no nothing, just a questionnaire that is filled with a bunch of bs and if you fail it they add more questions. Seems like nobody wants to listen to appeals by
    making this a process and a half to even talk to someone. This kind of stuff makes me question my long term future with Microsoft.

    If you are unable to pass this questionnaire of your understanding of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, then you must simply wait the allotted time and take it again in order to

    submit a case review    .

    No because I don't enjoy reporting people even though I probably should've but thats not my style. I report people who abuse the games themselves. People abusing other people on the platform has been going on forever and although its not right, it has
    basically become second nature on the platform so I don't report it.

    I tried and failed the quiz to even get to talk to someone about my appeal. And now I apparently have to wait another 24 hours to take the quiz again, which is something I have no interest in doing whatsoever. Seemingly thats the only way to talk to these
    people and it is frankly ridiculous (no offense). The system overall seems extremely flawed in my opinion and all I want to do is talk to a human being and not take a questionnaire.

    You would have to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com to see about submitting a case review for the gamertag change. The enforcement team are the only ones who handle those. If they
    overturn their decision, you will be given the opportunity to change the tag.
