Receiving unfair/unjust reputation on Xbox account.

Hello everyone. It was recommended to me by the Xbox support staff to post here about this concern.

The issue I'm facing is that I have just received an unjustified "Reputation: Needs Work" branding on my account page. The only reason I could think of as to why this may have happened led to one game specifically I play: Dead by Daylight. If you're unfamiliar
with this game it's notorious for players who once they lose at a match(or in some cases even win), send harassing inbox messages and report the account of who they've played against.

Knowing that this game was like that early on definitely tipped me off that my account could be in jeopardy of receiving an unfair label. I had contacted the Xbox support team many times beforehand detailing my concerns with the unwanted messages and reports and
now, lo and behold, I have a reputation associated with my account.

The Xbox staff suggested that the forum community may have some insightful ideas as to how to reverse/change this. Perhaps there are other gamers out there that have been in the same situation. I also tried filing a case review through the enforcement.xbox.com
website, but for some odd reason the page will not sign me in at the moment.

Device banned for harassment abuse and threats yet I haven't done any of those things

is there anyway to get my account unbanned by the xbox enforcement team, I haven't abused or threatened anyone so I really think this ban is unjust

I have had Xbox for so long and a loyal customer this is so unfair

Am I the only player who thinks that the complaint system is unfair and unjust? Why is it that they allow reputations to get foiled, and accounts to get banned for little kids being mad. I would also like to know how they do their investigating on such complaints,
and how the decipher whether or not complaints are valid or not. Seeing as I have been playing xbox for over 5 years I deserve to know why me, and other friends get banned, but moders and hackers seldomly get in trouble what so ever. Thank you

never be manipulated to falsely report individuals. Please avoid these players in the future" etc.

You're not the first and won't be the last with this problem. Players in competitive games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege regularly abuse the report feature on players they lose against as a way to get back at them. Microsoft has recognized this is
a problem and announced "changes" to the rep system, but have shown no progress towards fixing it. The current rep system we have is something straight out of a 90's MMO and is an arbitrary, easily manipulated numbers system that mostly reflects how many people
you play with instead of giving an accurate representation of the community's thoughts on your behavior.

Until Microsoft fixes the problem, the only thing you can do is stop playing the game in question. It's very sad that toxic communities are empowered by Xbox Live's current reputation system and Microsoft still chooses to do nothing about it. What's even
more sad is when people bring this complaint up on these forums, they're told to "avoid the individuals who exploit this system", as if it's your fault you're paired against immature adults who cannot handle losing in a video game.

If you want to continue playing the game without dealing with the false reporting nonsense, I recommend buying it on another platform (PC, PS4) that doesn't empower toxic communities with an incredibly exploitable and archaic feedback system.
