Receiving uneven number of Reward Points

Greetings,

For the past few months I have not been receiving reward points in even denominations of 100. For example, for the month of August I received 648 reward points and July was 972. At my earning level of VIP rank 2 with Gold, it should be a rebate of 4% on
each even unit of $10 spent. Logically, my point awards should always be multiples of 100, but they are not occurring that way. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Missing rewards since 2015

I am having issues with receiving rewards to my account since AT LEAST 2015. I most recently made a purchase through Xbox that should have qualified the account for the 15000 point reward for December 2016. Can you please look into my account and find out
what the issue is? I have missed many tens of thousands of points due to this issue.

pre ordered 2 Xbox One Xs and not getting rewarded

i pre ordered 2 Xbox One Xs and it doesnt show in my order history ,i have the order number and order date,but i should be receiving xbox reward points on my account,please help thanks

Due to changes with our commerce team, we have had to award less Credits due to them having a higher value. While we are discussing with them on how to get our Credit values back to a more normalized amount, they may remain at these
amounts for a while. Apologies for the inconvenience. Additionally, MyVIP payback for your region are based on every $10.60 in spending.

Gamerscore or Rewards points? Gamerscore has no monetary value and can't be used for gift cards. Rewards points can be. Make sure you're looking at the correct numbers.

That's correct, you do not receive reward points for purchasing game add-ons. You will only receive reward points for purchasing full games.

In the case of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, the game was released on March 25, 2023. If you purchased the game before March 25, you may have received reward points. However, if you purchased the game after March 25, you will not receive reward points.

In the case of Destiny 2 Lightfall, the game will be released on August 24, 2023. If you purchase the game before August 24, you may receive reward points. However, if you purchase the game after August 24, you will not receive reward points.

If you want to make sure you receive reward points for purchasing a game, you can check the Xbox rewards page before making your purchase. The rewards page will display all games that award reward points.

Here are some tips to get reward points for purchasing games:

Buy new and popular games. New, popular games typically award more reward points than older or less popular games.

Buy games on the Xbox Store. Games purchased from the Xbox Store earn more reward points than games purchased from other stores.

Buy games with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Games purchased with an Xbox Game Pass subscription also earn reward points.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here." (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
as of July 2014.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Furthermore, we see multiple Credit and deposit events for your account. You can see a complete history of your Credit and deposit events from the MyStatement on the MyRewards page. You can then use the dates listed for your deposits to see their deposit
as currency from your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com/), where they will be listed as a refund with a negative amount.
