Receiving Rewards Emails under wrong Gamertag

Hi,

I am registered on Xbox Live Rewards and I have been for many years. However, I noticed I am receiving promotional/monthly emails under the Gamertag "Powries" and not my own Gamertag, .

I am unsure, but this may have been an old Xbox account of mine that I no longer know how to access. Is it possible to remove the "Powries" Gamertag from being associated with my current email address?

Cancel Xbox Live Rewards

Hi,

I’ve not had an Xbox for several years and have tried numerous times to cancel my rewards subscription to stop emails coming to me. I’m still receiving emails though.

Can someone please cancel / delete my rewards account so I stop receiving irrelevant emails.

My gamertag is / was

I’ve tried clicking the opt out link and it just constantly says the site is undergoing maintenance (it’s been 4 days now).

We see that you are receiving emails from what appears to be an alternate account of yours, Gamertag: Jamieladc. You will have to opt out on that account in order to no longer receive Rewards emails.

We see that the "Powries" gamertag has similar information to this current account, so it is likely yours, as you suspected. We see activity on this account as recently as April. You may wish to contact Xbox support to see if you
can recover this account (support.xbox.com/contact-us), and once you can log in, opt that account out of the Rewards program using the opt-out link at the bottom of the MyRewards page. Since that account was more recently registered (in March), it is now the
one being addressed in your emails. Your Rewards Account is still working as expected.
