    Received Promotional Code that's already redeemed.


    I received an email today from *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** for a $2 towards some games on xbox live. When I tried to enter the promotional code, it informed me that it's already been redeemed. Any assistance anyone can give me on this?

    It appears the promotional code for Gears of War 3 I received (for having played GOW: Ultimate Edition) has already been redeemed. This code was sent from Xbox Live and I entered it on the redeem portion of
    Sign in to your Microsoft account signed into the correct account.

    I have received my code, but when I went to redeem the code it said that it was already redeemed. I contacted support and they said that the code has not been redeemed. They told me to come post this on this forum.

    Hey there Da Best Charlie,

    When you redeemed the code to your account, did you receive an error message when trying to redeem it or once you tried to access it on Spotify? If the code has already been redeemed to your account but the application is not allowing you to use then you
    will not be able to redeem it on a new account being that the code has already been used.

    It sounds like the Spotify Terms of use would not allow for separate promotional codes to be used under the same account, but this is something that you will need to clarify with their support team.

    Support in this forum is more to help with missing codes from promotions or issues with redeeming codes. Phone/chat support would be the only ones who could handle issues with codes that have already been redeemed.

    It's possible that the code has expired or has already been redeemed. If you received the code in a physical package, such as a bag of Doritos, it's possible that the code was printed with an expiration date or has already been redeemed by someone else. Also, the promotion may have been discontinued or the codes may have been limited in quantity and have been exhausted.

    I would recommend contacting Doritos or Xbox Support to inquire about the issue. Provide them with the details of the promotion and the code that you have, they will be able to assist you better.
