Received legitimate email with wrong gamertag

yeah, I think I put the wrong gamertag and can only be received once per email.? any way to know the gamertag you entered?,

We see that the "Powries" gamertag has similar information to this current account, so it is likely yours, as you suspected. We see activity on this account as recently as April. You may wish to contact Xbox support to see if you
can recover this account (support.xbox.com/contact-us), and once you can log in, opt that account out of the Rewards program using the opt-out link at the bottom of the MyRewards page. Since that account was more recently registered (in March), it is now the
one being addressed in your emails. Your Rewards Account is still working as expected.

As far as I know, the only way you can be removed from the Ambassador program is to receive some kind of enforcement against your gamertag (even something like a forced name change or an offensive bio).



Your friends reporting you wouldn't have any effect unless there was a legitimate issue.

Did you receive any other emails recently about action taken against your account?

Also, if you are asking, once you've received a gamerscore reset you can not re-earn the achievements that you had on that gamertag prior to the reset regardless if they were earned legitimately or not.

The email is legitimate. They are just asking for your input on the results of your question. It doesn't matter if you posted your email to a forum. All that matters is the email that your gamertag is attached to or your contact preferences.

PS. I got one too and they don't ask for personal info.
