    Received Codes from Xbox Live for Gears of War 1, 2, 3, & Judgement, some don't work


    Received a message from Xbox Live shortly after I redeemed Gears 4 UE with codes for BC versions of Gears 1-3 & Gears Judgement, the codes for Gears 2 & Judgement redeemed normally but the others give me an error when I try to redeem them.

    Any chance I can get new codes for them?

    Hey there ZachieBlade,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with redeeming the codes. Have you tried the Prepaid Code Troubleshooting guide yet? Sometimes that can help out. Where are you physically
    located currently? Does your account match the region? Is your console also connecting to Xbox Live within that region? Try to redeem the code on xbox.com HERE and let us know if you're also seeing the same error
    message and error code. Please also post the error message and error code here as well.

    Yeah, I have tried that. And yes, I went to that page. Here's what happens. I'm in australia, and yes my settings are correct otherwise I wouldn't have been able to redeem the other two codes that did work.

    yes but did you answer the second question it's important

    If your account region doesn't reflect your actual region that would be why

    No new codes will work and you will continue to have issues

    You can check it under commerce.microsoft.com

    For the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

    In order to change it you must go under my account and change your region on this website

    FYI you must live in an xbox live region for it to work

    Hey, Zachie! Thanks for both providing the error and where you're located. To ensure your account is actually set to Australia, we suggest attempting a

    region migration    . If you're able to do that, then try out redeeming the codes again. Let us know how that works for you!

    Cannot download Gears 1 and 3 codes

    I have this problem as well. I live in the UK and have download codes for all 4 Gears of War games (1, 2, 3 & Judgement). I cannot redeem Gear 1 or 3 but 2 and Judgement redeemed fine.

    Hi, I did receive my 4 redeem codes, however the codes for the original gears of war and gears of war 3 did not work, and do not work until today, I always get the code Xbos-0X80150017.

    The codes for gears of war 2 and judgement did work though.
