Received an abusive message online and need to report it

Help, I’ve received an abusive offensive message on my Xbox account which has been spelled out in individual

letters to avoid a ban. If I report individual letters nothing will happen. I have a video and or photos of the messages. It’s clear what they are calling me. I don’t even know who this profile is. I should not have to put up with this.

The enforcement team do not use the forums and do not take reports via the forums. You'll either need to report the message or report them via their profile and give more details in the comment box and the enforcement team will investigate from there.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. They won’t do anything on me reporting individual letters. Even with a comment it won’t even trigger the algorithm that flags it to be read.

If you were abusive with your message then that's why you got reported and received a ban.

If you receive verbal abuse or abusive messages over live block,avoid & report the sender,do not retaliate by sending abusive messages yourself.

I have received abusing messages, but I have never received repeated messages unless I replied, report > block > move on.
