Reason for BF BC2 isn't working

There are 4 patches that are missing, and without these patches you can't play anything online or co-op. This includes Vietnam as well as Onslaught. Until Microsoft allows for these patches to download, we are all stuck with a broken game

Are you serious? They took down the patches?

 

You can still download the patch and play from your download history, IF you had it installed previously at one point. For everyone who never had Bad Company 2 until now you're out of luck until they fix the patch downloading problem. The patch to download
is called BFBC2 Vietnam Multiplayer Update and is 1.6 GB. I had the same problem until I found it in m history. You may still get it to work if you continually restart your game every time it fails to connect to EA.

 

Thank you unrealspade. Spent 2 hours looking on xbox.com, battlefield.com, origin.com and Ea.com and found nothing to explain anything. I found the VIP maps on the websites and was furious that It's nowhere to be found in the in-game store or the marketplace.
Should have realized it was a compatibility pack that was missing. What's with the trend of broken games like; Ascend:hand of kul, airmech arena, battlefield 4 and bfbc 2? What happened to the integrity of game developers? Must be a bunch of new people in
charge at Micro$oft. Get your act together buddies

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update - 283MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update #2 - 468MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update #3 - 1.7GB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Title Update #6 - 14MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 LE Title Update #6 - 14MB

Dunno which ones are necessary but those are what I have.
