Realy need help on RE2 remake, switched to assisted mode, didnt help

Hello!

Im very frustrated now after failed for over a hour.

I just got this Resident evil 2 remake 3 days ago.

First gameplay with Leon, im where you must find the electric parts after you have been in the parking garage and underground.

The thing is that i was so stupid to save the game while i had low health, 18 rounds for the pistol left.

When i move to third floor to get into west storage room this happen:

A big beast named licker? Hunt me and i shoot him down, after that i enter a door and a zombie bite me, i managed to kill him but then i was out of bullets and the beast waked up and instant killed me. This happen everytime.

Have tried for long time now and i realy appriciate any help or ideas. Do i realy need to get in this room now?

Have explored the hole place and it seems to be the only way to get into the clock tower so i can find the last electric part?

I would refuse to start from beginning since i have played for over 5 hours now.

And it was annoying to change to assisted mode after reaching so long on normal mode.. But i thought it would help me to reach the storage room but it didnt.

Yes true, many walktroughs on youtube, i see that i missed to upgrade the matilda to get the stock so it fire like burst. Maby that would help me to defeat the monster and the zombie on the third floor, but i still have less bullets and life. When i finish
the game with Leon, is it possible to choose normal difficult with Clarie?

Thanks a lot! Im very happy now with the advice from here, and i got to load a autosave file one hour back in the game so i could continue playing it on normal. I also saved my herbs and used them only when i was red. I finally got out from the police station
now on normal with a couple combined herbs and some ammo

But it was still a few things left to explore in the police station. Is it some rooms Leon cant access?

I always find YouTube videos a great source of information when I'm stuck at a particular point in a game. I get a better understanding of what I can or need to do to get past that point. I've been stuck in games for easily a week or more before now, don't
give up you'll conquer the game and enjoy a story along the way.

Off course it is. After you finish with Clarie, you can play the game again with slightly different location sequence and story. It is the best game this year and it deserves your effort, even if you starting from the beginning.
