Really slow downloads on the Xbox for PC app

    Really slow downloads on the Xbox for PC app


    I saw an answer to this in the FAQ but the answer given does not apply to me since I am on a wired connection. My max speed in this app is 6.8Mbps but when I use a good service such as Steam, my speed exceeds 90Mbps. Why is this app so slow and has anyone
    found a fix for this yet?

    PC Xbox Game Pass - Slow Download Speeds

    I'm on gigabit internet as well.

    Xbox app on PC is the only slow app when it comes to downloads. Consistently caps out at about ~22MBPS (~175mbps) where as plenty of other game launchers such as Steam/Uplay/Battle.net pull upwards of ~100MBPS (~800mbps). I'm on a gigabit connection. Why is the Xbox app so slow to download and install games? Its pathetic.

    So if you are having problems updating your games and they are going really slow, you might want to try the troubleshooting on the page titled

    Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads on Xbox One

    Go through the steps outlined there and let us know if that helps out with the issue.
