Really confused on something and need help!!

I recently had an xbox one and it started having issues overheating....clicking noise....cd's came out of it wet and sweaty...I had purchased an extended warranty so I went and exchanged for a brand new xbox one.....now I plugged it all in......now here
is where the confusion and problems arise......I turn it on...to do the initial setup since it is brand new.....click the A button....1st thing thats asked is language....I make that selection.....next question that pops up is do I have an internet connection...and
if so is it wired or wireless? I have a modem/router here...and run 3 other devices including 2 laptops wireless with my wifi....so I choose my network and enter password but all I keep getting is a network not found...check network and password and try again
message.....I've contacted microsoft and also checked responses to questions similar here and alot of the answers I've seen have come down to disconnect and reconnect the modem/router and do a hard reset on the xbox system itself which I have done numerous
times the past few days to no avail.....same situation is occuring.....I decided to try and watch some xbox one connection videos on youtube and see how people are connecting their new xbox ones right out of the box....and something I saw confused me and I
was wondering if this may be the issue.....on the videos of the initial setups I watched, I saw the setup process begin in 4 steps....1-choose language...2-choose country....3-choose if you have an internet connection wired or wireless....4-do update if needed.....is
that the way the inital setup is supposed to go? because on my xbox one I enter language then it asks for an internet connection and I was wondering if maybe because the step where you enter your country is not being done before checking for internet connection,
that maybe it can't find my network because it does not have a country point of reference to go by. Any answers be most appreciated!

Really confused need help

so recently I was communication banned on my main account so therefore I made a second account to get around the ban because it's so annoying. I contacted a support member through live chat and they told me that if I'm banned on one account it should not
affect the other, but in my case I'm banned on my main AND my second, but I literally just made this account and haven't even talked to anyone yet so how could I get banned?please help me

Creating another account to get around a suspension on your main account is a violation of the ToU/CoC.

I believe the enforcement team have now put in place "methods" to prevent this which is why your new account can't communicate either.

 

If you have an ethernet cable you could try connecting it to the internet that way hopefully solving the issue. If it works and you're able to download the update it should fix the problem and then you'll be able to disconnect the cable and try to connect
again wirelessly.
