Really confused about Minecraft

I bought Minecraft through the xbox 360 because my son couldn't get into the game other than the beginning area. After buying the full version of the game and downloading it, it looks like he now has to buy "texture Packs" before he can actually play it.;

If I'm forced to pay additional fees before he can play a game I've paid for than I want out.

Where is the game manual that tells me how to play? Where's the warning that paying for a game doesn't mean you can play it?

Where do I cancel my gold membership and get a refund?

I am really confused..

Hum,i not sure if a stronger harware makes things easier.

I'm pretty sure PC gamers have to download tons of patches as much as console gamers.

Better devs makes things easier.

I am really confused..

What i meant,is that our (digital) games library will follow us.

And i won't need to buy Scorpio to play Forza 7,i can play it on Xbox one and later on, buy Scorpio and keep playing Forza 7.

In some way,i can choose (for a limited time) when Xbox one lifecycle will end.

It's not like previous gen when you have to upgrade to play new releases.

Lifecycle matters less than previous generation.

If Windows 10 team does what they said.

Xbox one S cost $299.

If i add $100.

that's $ 399 for a Scorpio.

Sweet.

The texture packs are optional content. It's dlc. You don't have to purchase it.

the annoying ones are like thestupid random thigns that claptraps drop..like panties pizza..etc...and there's no way of telling how many of each you've collected...I've done Tannis' crazy mission once..lol it was fun to do.and Inow have this game on Steam.and
having even more fun with it...

With just the regular game you can only go up to level 58, so keep playing cuz when u hit level 51 u get another acheevo, if u want level 69 u need to get the secret armory DLC, the other DLCs are fun just no level upgrades, just bonus skill points for completing
the dlcs, 1 for each playthrough. My suggestion get the Secret Armory for now, you only need the other DLCs if u wanna get all the acheevos

playthrough 1 is levels between 1- 42 .zombie island level requirement is 35 .you could still do the main quest line and sidemissions to get xp but killing the enemies on that level will get you none to a few xp unless you finished the main quest destroy
the destroyer then the other dlc claptrap revolution will scale to level 61.what i usually do is finish at least halfway to p1 one all the way to new haven do some sidemission so your at least within the level or at least a level above to provide a good challenge
and get some experience of the dlc.BUT the secret final boss on the armory dlc is not included in that rule he will be at the minimum 64 max level 72 regardless on whatever playthrough you fight him with.
