Reading massages!!!

I haf something like that happen. Showing new messages when I didn't have any. What seemed to work was either delete old conversations or check my messages through the app on my phone or computer. That always seemed to do the trick and removed the 1 new
message I didn't have.

I would reccomend try a hard reboot reconnect and also look for a device update is probably your best bet I'm a gamer not an expert.

I have a similar problem all of my messages/conversations are a week old. When i start a new conversation or send a message to someone it doesnt show up. I logged into another account on my xbox and the issue wasn't there.

Please press the xbox button so that the menu comes up and then press rb until you scroll across to messages and instead of opening chats go down the list to where it says requests. All the received messages from people not associated with your account
will appear here until you chat with this xbox gamers. I hope this helps your query and that your getting through well through this difficult time.

There should be a additional option for message request, whichbare messages from peoole that youbare not friend with and contact you first, you have to approve the request if you want to reply, or it will say you have a message if its its xbox live, which
is under the messages from xbox option
