Re7 Windows 10 Fail to save

I recently bought Re7 deluxe edition on xbox one because it was on sale. I played it fine on xbox but when i downloaded on windows 10 using xbox play anywhere the game wont save no matter what. I have seen atleast 2 other posts on this and hope there is
a fix. I have redownloaded twice already. Send help.

Windows10 and Microsoft Mahjong issue

Running on Windows 10, Microsoft Mahjong fails to sign-in to Xbox Games. Had the same problem with Wordament until the latest Windows 10 update.

 

Loadable saved data could not be found!!!!!!

Bare with me on this. So, I have Re7 for Xbox One and Play anywhere. Everything was working great since launch. But I fired up my laptop a month or two ago, opened Re7, took me to The loading screen, then after a few minutes of waiting the game shuts down.
Closes out the loading window. Tried it again. Wouldn't work. Then, finally it started to work. But it had a new problem, every time I tried to sign in to Xbox it would say "Lets Play" then come up with a error message saying that it couldn't sign me in. Kept
trying to sign in, nothing worked and I couldn't play.

Now, a couple of months later, I try again. The load screen come up, signs me in, takes me to the menue. When I click continue it says "Loadable saved data could not be found". So, I decided to start a new game. Upon agreeing that I will need tapes to save
for Madhouse, a message pops up saying, "Couldn't save". So, apparently the auto save function is broken. But, to the point, I cant play the game. I can play it on my Xbox one. My Xbox one loads right up, opens the save, and throws me in. But the Windows 10
version is having problems with it not wanting to load and save my games for Re7.

Any help? I prefer to play on my laptop since I'm not at home a lot. But it doesn't work. It still has the loading screen glitch every now and then when I try to boot it up, but I've tried everything. I deleted the game, I've reinstalled it, I'm connected
to internet, I've checked for updates on both platforms, Im signed into the right profile, I've restarted my laptop, I've tried looking for the files but couldn't find them, so I've tried everything and nothing is working. It works great on my Xbox one, just
not my Windows 10 pc.

 

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I've noticed we are not the only ones as there have been numerous negative reviews left on the Windows Store citing this exact same issue. I have little hope of ever receiving any solution here as there are support
posts still open from ages ago without any response. I've even tried chatting with Microsoft support and just kept getting shifted from one department to another back and forth. I've currently got a support ticket in with Capcom. Hopefully they'll be a little
more helpful.

 

Sadly no, I have pretty much given up on it at this point. Neither microsoft or capcom have been any help.

 

Yeah Capcom responded back to me telling me to make sure I had the game installed to the C: drive and if that didn't help me to reach out to Microsoft for a solution. What kind of ignorant, B.S. response is that?

 

Same, on my pc i only have a C drive so I was a little annoyed by the response. Just making due with the xbox one version as of late. Hope they fix it soon though.

 

I've experiencing the same issue and Capcom told me to reinstall on the C:\ drive. I did the reinstall and still see the same issues. I don't own an XBOX, so I don't even have the option of playing the game any other way except on Windows.

 

If you guys haven't already you may want to use the "report this game" option in the Windows Store to help make Microsoft aware of this issue. Not sure if it really makes a difference but the more of us that report it the greater the attention it will attract.

 

I just redownloaded and installed RE7 to my Windows PC again today and miraculously it has started saving and even importing games from the Xbox One. Whatever the issue was it seems they may have figured it out and fixed it. Give it a shot.

 

After chatting with xbox support, they suggested opening the xbox app on my Windows 10 pc, signing out, and signing back in. When I opened up the game, my saves were all back and I was able to pick up where I left off.
