Re-release of a game(?)

Insurgency: Sandstorm was delayed a little over a year ago now (I think? Roughly). It had already been through one preorder thing and now they are releasing it again, but it shows that I would need to buy it again to actually get it (at the current time that it is considered preorder only, I'm not sure if that's subject to change after it is fully released in September). Should I contact Microsoft about it now,to see if I can get the game that I paid for previously?

More games will be released for backwards compatibility, the thing is it comes down to the publishers of these games to re-release them. I know something like Ghosts wont be re-released because there's already an Xbox One version.

It'll take time though, but a lot of these games will eventually be released for backwards compatibility.

I know it seems like there are just nothing but ports and re-releases or remasters. Eventually we'll see a rise in new games, it'll just be a while. I do hope they kind of slow down with all of the remasters and re-releases. The whole point of a new console
is to play new games, not re-released games from a couple years ago or sooner.

i recall that game, I seriously doubt it getting a re-release tho. Although it is by Sega and they are one of the few companies that jumped on the digital re-release campaign.

I'd like to see Aliens Vs Predate arcade game remade.
